Chery has officially launched the locally assembled Tiggo 8 PHEV in Pakistan, marking the country’s first-ever 7-seater plug-in hybrid SUV. Building on the success of the Tiggo 7 PHEV, the Tiggo 8 combines luxury, performance, and eco-friendly technology to offer a premium driving experience.
The SUV is powered by a high-performance hybrid system delivering 543 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque, along with a pure electric range of 77 kilometers, making it suitable for both city commuting and long-distance travel. Its advanced features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10 airbags for enhanced safety, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a panoramic sunroof that adds to the premium feel.
Chery aims to set a new benchmark in Pakistan’s SUV segment with the Tiggo 8 PHEV, appealing to customers seeking high-end features and hybrid efficiency. Pricing details are expected to be announced soon, as the company continues to expand and strengthen its locally produced hybrid lineup.
