Vehicle sales in Pakistan have shown strong growth, with overall sales increasing by 52 percent year-on-year, according to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA). Despite this annual rise, car sales experienced an 11 percent decline on a month-on-month basis.

In November 2025, a total of 15,442 cars were sold, while vehicle sales during the first five months of the financial year reached 50,856 units. Overall car sales recorded a 48 percent annual increase, totaling around 75,000 units. The sale of two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles also rose by 38 percent in November, reaching 165,753 units for the month.

Earlier in October, car sales had surged by 67 percent nationwide, reflecting a period of strong demand. Analysts attribute this growth to lower interest rates, easing inflation, a more stable macroeconomic environment, and improving consumer confidence, all of which boosted demand across vehicle segments.

Monthly data shows car sales reached 17,174 units in September, following a slight dip in August when 14,050 vehicles were sold. The first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 saw car sales totaling 42,267 units, highlighting the sustained recovery and growth in the automotive sector.
