Nishat Group Launches Jaecoo J7 PHEV in Pakistan with Nationwide Test Drive Events

Nishat Group has introduced the Jaecoo J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) to Pakistan, marking the debut of the OMODA and Jaecoo brands through its subsidiary Nexgen Auto Pvt Ltd. The launch event in Lahore showcased the J7 PHEV alongside the fully electric OMODA E5 and Jaecoo J6 EV, with the J7 quickly standing out for its hybrid design that combines practicality with performance. Nishat plans to locally assemble the J7 PHEV at a new Faisalabad facility supported by a $100 million investment, aiming to boost production and localization. A comprehensive dealer and after-sales network now covers more than 25 cities across Pakistan.

Starting October 22, interested customers can experience the Jaecoo J7 PHEV through public displays and test drives at key locations including Dolmen Mall in Lahore and Karachi, Centaurus Mall in Islamabad, and the official Omoda & Jaecoo dealership in Multan. These events provide an opportunity for potential buyers to explore the features of the vehicle and place bookings. As fuel prices remain a concern and electric vehicle range anxiety continues, the J7 PHEV offers an ideal hybrid alternative by combining electric mobility for daily use with a petrol engine for longer journeys.
