Pakistan Becomes Foodpanda’s Largest Global Grocery Market, CEO Reveals Growth of Pandamart Platform

Muntaqa Peracha, CEO of foodpanda Pakistan, has revealed that Pakistan has become the company’s largest grocery market worldwide. In a recent interview, he highlighted that groceries, delivered through foodpanda’s pandamart platform, now make up nearly one-third of the company’s business in the country.

The growth is largely driven by the absence of large national retail chains, which has allowed foodpanda, operating 45 to 50 pandamart stores across Pakistan, to establish itself as one of the country’s leading grocery providers.

Peracha emphasized that Pakistan’s grocery market has captured global attention, surpassing performance in markets such as Singapore and Taiwan. He noted that the segment remains a key focus for expansion, with plans to further grow the category and strengthen foodpanda’s presence in the rapidly evolving e-grocery sector.
