The Pakistani rupee (PKR) remained strong against the US Dollar (USD) for the 97th consecutive day, closing at 279.6731 after gaining three paisas.

Despite its continued stability versus the USD, the PKR weakened against most other major currencies in the interbank market. It lost Rs. 1.62 against the British Pound (GBP), Rs. 1.26 against the Euro (EUR), Rs. 1.01 against the Australian Dollar (AUD), and Rs. 1.12 against the Canadian Dollar (CAD). The rupee, however, remained marginally stronger against the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR), reflecting mixed performance across global currencies.
