A team from the Pakistan Army earned a gold medal at Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025, a globally recognized military endurance event held in Wales, United Kingdom. Spanning from October 3 to 13, the competition is regarded as one of the most demanding tests of military skill and physical stamina. Participants are required to navigate 60 kilometers of difficult terrain within a 48-hour timeframe, completing complex tactical and military tasks under realistic combat conditions.

The 66th edition of the event saw participation from 137 teams representing 36 countries. Pakistan’s contingent, led by Captain Muhammad Saad, received the top honor for its outstanding performance, according to a release by the Inter-Services Public Relations. The statement highlighted the achievement as a moment of national pride and recognition of the Pakistan Army's high level of professionalism and rigorous training.

The event maintained its high professional standards, pushing teams to demonstrate endurance, strategic thinking, and teamwork in physically and mentally challenging scenarios. Cambrian Patrol, organized by the British Army since 1959, is often referred to as the Olympic Games of military patrolling and draws elite units from NATO and non-NATO countries alike.

Pakistan’s consistent success in this competition reinforces the operational capability, discipline, and global standing of its armed forces.
