Bangladesh Plans Historic Air Force Modernization with Eurofighter Typhoons, J-10CEs, JF-17s, and Turkish T129 Helicopters

Bangladesh is reportedly preparing for a significant modernization of its air force, with plans to acquire a mix of advanced fighter jets and attack helicopters. According to BDMilitary, the proposed procurement includes 10 Eurofighter Typhoons, 20 Chinese J-10CE multirole fighters, 16 JF-17 Block III jets of Pakistan, and six Turkish T129 ATAK helicopters.

If the plan moves forward, it would mark one of the most substantial upgrades in the history of the Bangladesh Air Force, reflecting a strategic push to enhance aerial capabilities and modernize the country’s defense infrastructure.
