The Punjab government has introduced a reward program valued at Rs. 100 million to recognize and encourage excellence in education across the province. A total of 100 schools—selected from all 36 districts—will each receive Rs. 1 million in acknowledgment of their outstanding performance in areas such as academic achievement, infrastructure development, and student-focused initiatives.

An independent third-party will conduct the evaluation process, examining key factors including examination results, the quality of the classroom environment, availability of essential facilities, and the overall condition of the school infrastructure. This initiative is designed to promote higher standards in education by setting a benchmark for performance and motivating other institutions to enhance their quality of teaching and learning.

The reward program is part of a broader effort by the Punjab government to uplift the education sector. Additional measures, such as scholarships for students and laptop distribution for high-achieving learners, reflect a strategic focus on creating opportunities for academic growth and supporting youth development across the province. These actions signal a long-term commitment to building an education system that is inclusive, competitive, and future-ready.
