AIOU Opens Admissions for Spring Semester 2026: Apply Now

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the commencement of admissions for the Spring Semester 2026, covering academic programs ranging from Matriculation to PhD across Pakistan. According to a press release issued on Sunday, the admissions process will begin on January 1, 2026, and will be available in all four provinces, as well as in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the northern areas.

The university will also offer selected programs for Pakistanis living abroad and for international students. Admission forms and prospectuses for all programs will be accessible online through AIOU’s official website, allowing applicants to complete the process from the convenience of their homes.

To assist students, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood has instructed the establishment of Student Facilitation Centers at all 53 regional offices prior to the start of admissions. These centers will provide guidance to applicants and offer free computer and internet access to help students complete their online applications efficiently.

AIOU stated that these initiatives are aimed at making the admission process more accessible and providing maximum support to students nationwide, ensuring that prospective learners receive assistance throughout their application journey.
