The Punjab government has launched a new phase of the Mein Digital program to create digital employment opportunities for educated women in rural areas of the province. Implemented by the Punjab Skills Development Fund in collaboration with government partners under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, the initiative aims to equip women with digital skills and enable them to earn income from home while reducing barriers to employment and enhancing economic mobility in rural Punjab.

Selected participants in the program will undergo six months of structured digital skills training, with a monthly stipend of PKR 5,000 provided to support learners during the training period. The current intake offers a total of 2,000 seats, and applications are open for a limited time due to high demand, with the deadline set for January 25.

Applicants must have completed at least 16 years of education, be residents of rural Punjab, and fall within the age range of 21 to 40 years. Candidates are also required to pass an entry test to qualify for enrollment. Interested women can submit their applications online through the official PSDF portal, and authorities recommend completing the process before the deadline as seats are limited. The Mein Digital program offers a significant opportunity for women in rural Punjab to gain valuable digital skills, improve employability, and generate income from home while contributing to broader economic empowerment initiatives.
