Punjab Introduces New Subject Across All Schools

Punjab has introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI) education in all government schools, marking a major step toward modernizing the education system. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that the initiative will provide every student with access to digital and analytical tools essential for competing in today’s world.

The program includes the appointment of an AI teacher in every public school, supported by 1,000 teachers trained as AI Master Trainers. The AI curriculum is set to be fully integrated within 60 days. The chief minister described the initiative as a “historic digital leap” for Punjab, positioning the province as a leader in preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital era.
