Islamabad Considers Changes to Winter School and College Timings

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has confirmed that schools and colleges in Islamabad will continue observing winter timings until February 16, 2026. Previously, the adjusted schedule was set to end on January 31, 2026, but authorities have extended it to maintain the same hours for all educational institutions under FDE’s jurisdiction.

The clarification comes in response to reports claiming that schools and colleges had resumed regular hours following the winter schedule, which the FDE stated were incorrect. Educational institutions are instructed to continue following the winter timetable, ensuring that students and staff remain aware of the current schedule. Any further updates on revised timings will be shared through official notifications.
