KP Higher Education Directorate Implements Strict SOPs for Girls’ College Events

The Directorate of Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for welcome and farewell events, sports galas, and other cultural programs in women’s colleges, making compliance mandatory. College administrations are required to obtain prior approval from the Director or Regional Director of Higher Education before organizing any event, and a complete list of participants and guests must be submitted in advance.

The SOPs prohibit music, dance, modeling, or similar performances. Students must wear college uniforms during all events, and the use of mobile phones is strictly banned during college hours and functions. Sharing videos or photos of events on social media is also forbidden.

Authorities emphasized that all programs must follow social and cultural values, with strict security arrangements in place to protect student safety and privacy. Colleges or principals failing to comply with these regulations will face strict action.
