Islamabad Authorities to Shut Down Unregistered Clinics

Yesterday, 12:37. Posted by: taiba

The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority has announced strict measures against unregistered healthcare facilities operating in the federal capital, issuing a final warning for compliance. All unregistered medical establishments have been given 15 days to complete their registration process and submit the required documentation.

IHRA officials warned that facilities failing to comply within the given timeframe will face legal action. Continuing medical practice without official registration is illegal under the IHRA Act, and authorities may suspend registrations or seal clinics and medical centers that operate without meeting legal requirements.

The authority has also published a list of facilities that have not submitted registration fees or completed the necessary documentation on its official website. IHRA stated that the initiative is part of broader efforts to improve healthcare standards, regulate unauthorized medical establishments, and ensure safe medical services for residents of Islamabad.
