The KAUST MEWC Winter Camp 2026 in Saudi Arabia is a fully funded six-week research internship program hosted at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. Open to students from any part of the world, this opportunity is designed for undergraduate and master’s level participants with a strong interest in microelectronics. The camp will run from January 12 to February 19, 2026, and aims to immerse students in high-impact research activities, technical workshops, and innovation-driven projects in the field of modern electronics.
Participants selected for the program will receive comprehensive financial support, including a stipend to cover living expenses, visa assistance, travel booking services, airport transfers, and complimentary accommodation on the KAUST campus. In addition to these benefits, students will have access to advanced research laboratories and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
The core objective of the Microelectronics Winter Camp is to develop participants’ technical expertise and research skills in areas such as integrated circuits, 3D and inkjet printing, self-assembly, and gadget prototyping. The program also includes hands-on training sessions, workshops on research methodologies, and an e-poster competition, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their work and interact with peers and faculty in a collaborative environment.
Applicants from all nationalities are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates include recent graduates, senior undergraduate students, or current master’s students in disciplines such as electrical engineering or computer engineering. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 is required, along with proficiency in English and a demonstrated interest in research.
