The Government of Sindh has announced the commencement of recruitment for Grade 1 to 4 positions across all 30 districts of the province. Deputy commissioners have been authorized to supervise the hiring process at union council, town, tehsil, and district levels to ensure transparency and efficiency. The approved candidate lists were prepared by district recruitment committees following interviews and tests conducted in 2023.
The vacancies cover positions such as naib qasid, chowkidar, sanitary worker, driver, and dispatch rider, among others. Recruitment will also include all seven districts of Karachi Division, with officials instructing that the hiring process be completed by June 2027. The recruitment process has previously faced legal challenges, with MQM Pakistan filing objections in the Sindh High Court over aspects of the recommendations, but the government has moved forward with the approved procedures.
