Nothing has officially unveiled the Phone (3a) Lite, marking the company’s first entry-level smartphone under its main brand. While Nothing’s CMF lineup already caters to budget users, the Phone (3a) Lite represents a new effort to bring the signature Nothing design and experience to a more affordable price segment. The device is now available for pre-orders in Pakistan at a price of Rs. 99,900, while its international retail price starts at $249. Despite being labeled a “Lite” model, the smartphone packs premium features, including a vibrant AMOLED display, a capable camera system, and long-term software support. The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite retains the company’s signature transparent rear design with a simplified Glyph interface, featuring a single light that indicates notifications and system alerts. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The screen can reach up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, making it suitable for outdoor use, and comes protected with Panda Glass. An optical fingerprint sensor is built into the display, alongside a punch-hole 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, built on a 4nm process, ensuring efficient performance and battery management. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The device ships with Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, and the company promises three major Android updates and six years of security patches, ensuring long-term software reliability. In terms of cameras, the Phone (3a) Lite features a triple rear camera setup — a 50MP main lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The camera system supports high-quality photography and videography for its segment, offering sharp details and wide-angle versatility. Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, allowing a 50% charge in just 20 minutes. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging, letting users power small accessories on the go. The Phone (3a) Lite is available in Black and White color options, both featuring the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic. In Pakistan, only the 8GB/256GB variant is currently available at major retailers such as PriceOye, priced at Rs. 99,900. With its striking design, smooth display, long-lasting battery, and solid performance, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite offers a distinctive blend of style and functionality, bridging the gap between affordability and premium experience in the midrange smartphone market.
