Blast in Dera Ismail Khan Leaves 11 Dead, 30 Injured

At least 11 people lost their lives and 30 others were injured on Saturday following a blast in Dera Ismail Khan, as reported by emergency service Rescue 1122.

According to a statement from Rescue 1122, the explosion took place near Aman Mela in the Darazinda area of the district.

Rescue teams from the Darazinda station responded promptly, providing medical assistance to the injured and transporting them to hospital.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack, according to sources cited on Saturday.

Dera Ismail Khan, which borders Afghanistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has experienced repeated incidents of terrorist violence. The latest incident is among several security incidents this month in the district, including other attacks involving the TTP.
