Gold price per tola gains Rs2,200 in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, reflecting gains in the international market, with per tola gold increasing by Rs2,200 to Rs456,536.

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs456,536 after a gain of Rs2,200 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs391,406 after it increased by Rs1,887, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Friday, gold price per tola reached Rs454,336 after a gain of Rs5,100 during the day.

The international rate of gold was up by $22 to reach $4,341 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs113 to reach Rs6,826 per tola.
