Four individuals were arrested in Karachi following a failed attempt to steal oil from the National Oil Refinery’s pipeline. According to the Special Investigation Unit, the suspects had dug a deep tunnel inside a warehouse as part of their plan to siphon oil from the Parco pipeline.
Police confirmed that the tunnel, measuring approximately 17 feet in depth and 140 meters in length, was discovered before the theft could be carried out. The swift action by authorities led to the apprehension of all four suspects, preventing significant losses and highlighting the ongoing vigilance against illegal operations targeting critical energy infrastructure.
