Punjab to Replace 29 Textbooks for Middle and High School Students Next Academic Year

The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced plans to replace 29 textbooks for middle and high school classes in the next academic year, as reported by 24NewsHD. The authority has already begun the process of preparing the new textbooks.

Textbooks for classes 6 to 9 will be updated, with class 9 undergoing the most significant revision, where 18 books will be replaced. PECTAA has issued official letters to all educational institutions, notifying them of the upcoming changes. Publishers have also been instructed to prepare new printing orders to ensure the revised textbooks are available on time, supporting a smooth transition for students and teachers.
