Pakistan Customs ACCU Karachi successfully intercepted a major narcotics smuggling attempt, seizing 10,226 MDMA (ecstasy) tablets valued at approximately Rs. 320.687 million from a parcel originating in Germany at the International Mail Office. The drugs were ingeniously hidden inside speakers and LED lamps, but timely detection prevented them from entering Pakistan’s illegal market.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) spokesperson emphasized the authority’s commitment to strict vigilance, stating that enhanced scrutiny across all channels, including international mail, remains a top priority to combat smuggling and protect public safety.
