The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a convenient way for citizens to reprint lost Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) and National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) through the PakID mobile application. This update allows users to apply for a reprint entirely from home, eliminating the need to visit a NADRA office in person. To reprint a CNIC or NICOP via the PakID app, users should first download and register on the app. After logging in, navigate to the “ID Documents” section and select the “ID Card” option. Applicants can choose “Myself” if applying for their own ID or “My Blood Relatives” when applying on behalf of a family member, including parents, spouse, siblings, or children. The CNIC number of the person for whom the application is being submitted must be entered, and NADRA requires that the relative be physically present during the application process. Next, users should click “Reprint” to view the application details and provide a delivery address for the reprinted card. Applicants have the flexibility to choose a NADRA Centre or any other address, in addition to their permanent or current residence. This initiative reflects NADRA’s continued efforts to leverage digital tools for efficient, user-friendly citizen services and ensures quicker access to essential identity documents. Go back |
