QUETTA: The Balochistan government has declared all strikes and illegal work stoppages in the education sector prohibited under the Balochistan Special Education Services Act 2019. The move aims to ensure uninterrupted educational activities across the province. The School Education Department has officially labeled any strike by teachers or educational staff as illegal and warned that legal action will be taken against institutions or individuals violating the order. Under Section 6 of the Act, all public and private educational institutions are now subject to a complete ban on strikes for the next six months. Enforcement mechanisms and penalties for violators have been put in place by the authorities. The decision is effective immediately and applies to all schools and colleges in Balochistan. Officials emphasized that the measure is intended to protect the public interest and maintain the continuity of academic activities throughout the province. Go back |
