Himmat Card Punjab 2026: How to Check Balance and ATM Status

The Himmat Card Punjab program in 2026 provides persons with disabilities a digital platform to check their balance and ATM card status online, eliminating the need for physical visits to offices. Managed through the official DPMIS portal, the process is faster, fully transparent, and user-friendly. Beneficiaries can verify their PKR 10,500 quarterly stipend, track ATM card delivery, and confirm eligibility in a few simple steps.

The Himmat Card is a welfare initiative launched under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz Sharif to promote financial independence for persons with disabilities in Punjab. Unlike traditional aid programs, the scheme provides direct transfers to a bank-linked ATM card, reducing delays, corruption, and unnecessary visits. Currently, the program supports over 65,000 registered beneficiaries, with plans for further expansion in 2026.

Key details of the Himmat Card program include a quarterly stipend of PKR 10,500, eligibility verification via PMT scores below 45, and status checks online using the CNIC. The Bank of Punjab serves as the partner bank, and beneficiaries can access a dedicated helpline at 1312 for assistance.

Eligibility requires a valid disability certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department, a declaration of being medically “Not Fit to Work,” and not receiving benefits from BISP, Zakat Fund, or PSPA. Data accuracy is crucial, as mismatched CNIC details, mobile numbers, or addresses are the most common causes of rejection. Required documents include a special CNIC with a disability logo, the original disability certificate, a registered mobile SIM, and readiness for biometric verification at bank branches.

Checking the Himmat Card balance online involves visiting dpmis.punjab.gov.pk, entering the 13-digit CNIC, completing the captcha, and clicking search. Results indicate whether the application is approved, pending verification, or rejected, with reasons clearly displayed. Once approved, the balance becomes visible after funds are released.

ATM card delivery typically takes 10 to 15 working days after approval, with SMS notifications sent by the bank. Beneficiaries complete biometric verification at the nearest Bank of Punjab branch to receive their personalized card. Activation is done at any BOP ATM by setting a 4-digit PIN, after which funds can be withdrawn nationwide with zero charges at BOP ATMs. The stipend is credited automatically every three months, with SMS alerts from 8171 or the bank. Cards can also be used for POS transactions to pay for groceries and medicines.

Common causes for delays include expired disability certificates, CNIC mismatches, pending biometric verification, or unregistered mobile SIMs. Most issues are resolved within weeks once updated. For assistance, beneficiaries can contact the Social Welfare Helpline at 1312, the Bank of Punjab Helpline at 042-111-267-200, or submit complaints via the DPMIS portal.

The Himmat Card Punjab Balance Check and ATM Status system in 2026 ensures transparent, secure, and timely financial support for persons with disabilities, allowing beneficiaries to access their PKR 10,500 quarterly stipend efficiently and independently.
