The government has officially released the BISP 8171 Phase 3 payments, bringing relief to women who were waiting to receive their pending Rs 13,500 assistance. This phase targets beneficiaries who were left out of earlier payment rounds or whose verification was completed later. Under the Benazir Income Support Programme, Phase 3 focuses on transparency, biometric verification, and a district-wise rollout to ensure smooth and fair distribution of funds. Eligible families can now collect the full amount after successful verification through authorized payment centers. BISP payments are issued in multiple phases to manage crowds and avoid system overload. Phase 1 covered initially verified districts and has already been completed, while Phase 2 included the majority of eligible households and is also complete. Phase 3 is currently ongoing and is considered the final opportunity for women whose payments were delayed earlier to receive their Rs 13,500 after verification. For Phase 3, the government has confirmed several districts where payments have started. These include Lahore, Kahror Pacca, Lodhran, Hafizabad, Hyderabad, Khanewal, Kharan, Malakand, Tando Allah Yar, Sujawal, Muzaffargarh, Sidhoti Bagh, Kot Addu, Kashmore, Dera Bugti, Kolo, Grid, Tando Khan Muhammad, Mailsi, and Vehari. Beneficiaries living in these districts are advised to wait for the official 8171 SMS before visiting any payment center to avoid unnecessary travel or delays. Eligibility for the BISP 13500 Phase 3 payment is strictly checked through NSER data. Only women who are already registered with BISP, have a valid and updated CNIC, and have completed or recently updated their NSER survey qualify for this phase. Families who did not receive any BISP payment earlier in 2025 are prioritized. In cases where information such as CNIC details or children’s B-Form records is incomplete or outdated, payments may be delayed until corrections are made. Beneficiaries can easily check their BISP 8171 payment status using two methods. The fastest way is through SMS verification by sending their 13-digit CNIC number to 8171 and waiting for a confirmation message. Those who do not receive an SMS, face biometric issues, or see a pending status can visit their nearest BISP office for assistance and clarification. Once an eligibility message is received, beneficiaries should visit the nearest BISP payment center or campsite with their original CNIC. After completing biometric verification, they can collect the full Rs 13,500 amount and should always take a payment receipt. It is important to remember that BISP payments are completely free, and no agent or middleman is authorized to charge any fee. Delays in receiving payments usually occur due to expired or blocked CNICs, incomplete NSER surveys, biometric mismatches, district activation issues, or previous verification problems. Updating personal data and resolving biometric issues at BISP offices can help clear most of these delays. Beneficiaries are advised to rely only on official 8171 messages, avoid responding to unofficial calls or messages, carry their original CNIC instead of photocopies, and immediately report any deductions or issues at the payment center. The Government of Pakistan has instructed all concerned authorities to ensure transparent, fair, and timely distribution of funds. While Phase 3 is ongoing, the government has indicated that further improvements will be made to the BISP system, including better digital verification, fewer biometric errors, and faster payment cycles. Keeping personal information updated will help beneficiaries receive future payments without difficulty. The release of the BISP 8171 Phase 3 district list is a major relief for women who have been waiting for their Rs 13,500 assistance. Those whose districts are included should complete verification promptly and collect their payments without delay. Go back |
