The Capital Development Authority has issued new directives to around 300 officers and employees previously removed from their positions, instructing them to report daily to the Human Resources Development (HRD) Directorate and mark attendance without fail. The order, issued on January 28, 2026, makes it mandatory for all concerned officials to record their presence at HRD each day, with any absence without valid reason or prior approval considered a violation subject to disciplinary action under applicable service rules. The directive stresses strict compliance, warning that negligence or non-adherence will be taken seriously. It was approved by Director II (HRD) and circulated to the Director Security, Director Discipline, and relevant HR officers to ensure enforcement. This move follows the CDA’s earlier decision to remove nearly 300 officials from their posts and place them under HRD supervision, reportedly based on internal reports aimed at strengthening administrative control and oversight. Recently, the CDA also instructed all directorates, wings, and departments to provide complete details of criminal proceedings, court cases, FIRs, FIA investigations, and disciplinary actions involving employees. The Law Wing requested this information to consolidate records and ensure compliance with service rules. The new instructions form part of a wider internal review and administrative restructuring effort to enhance discipline and accountability within the authority. Go back |
