The Government of Pakistan has introduced a new Benazir Wazifa payment of Rs. 4500 under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program to support underprivileged students and ensure they continue their education without financial obstacles. This scholarship is part of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and is aimed at school-going children from low-income families, promoting education and reducing dropout rates.

Eligible students from families registered under BISP will receive Rs. 4500 in financial assistance. To qualify, applicants must have a poverty score of 32% or below, maintain at least 70% school attendance, come from households with monthly income under Rs. 50,000, and have parents who are not employed in government jobs. Required documents include the student’s school certificate or Bay Form, attendance proof, and a teacher’s signature.

To register, students or parents should visit the nearest BISP office with the necessary documents, including the parents’ CNIC and proof of enrollment. Previously ineligible students can also reapply if they meet updated eligibility criteria, including having no property or business abroad, no involvement in criminal cases, and a qualifying poverty score.

The Benazir Wazifa program helps students purchase books, uniforms, and cover transportation costs, supporting education and improving literacy among low-income families. Payment status can be checked on the official BISP portal or Benazir Taleemi Wazaif website by entering the CNIC or Bay Form number. Eligible students can collect their Rs. 4500 payment from the nearest BISP payment center or partner bank.

This initiative promotes inclusive education, reduces dropout rates, encourages school attendance, and provides financial assistance to ensure deserving students can continue their studies and achieve better academic outcomes.
