Punjab Government Plans New Lahore Airport Near Ravi City to Ease Air Traffic and Boost Development

The Punjab government is moving forward with plans to establish a new airport in Lahore, with the Ravi Urban Development Authority identifying a potential site near Ravi City close to the M-3 Motorway. The proposed location, approximately 30 kilometers from Allama Iqbal International Airport, is being considered to accommodate growing air traffic and support Lahore’s expanding infrastructure needs.
