Lahore is preparing to welcome Pakistan’s first-ever Giraffe Café at Safari Park, a unique attraction announced by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. The café will offer visitors a chance to enjoy food while getting up close to giraffes in a natural, open-air environment.

The announcement follows the arrival of two giraffes from South Africa, marking a major addition to the park’s wildlife collection. The upcoming café will feature elevated platforms, allowing safe and interactive encounters between guests and the animals—an experience inspired by popular wildlife cafés in Kenya and Thailand.

Officials expect the Giraffe Café to become a major tourist attraction, appealing to families, wildlife lovers, and social media enthusiasts alike. It aims to blend conservation awareness with recreation, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in Pakistan.

Although an official opening date has not been announced yet, construction and final preparations are underway, signaling that visitors may soon enjoy this rare and exciting addition to Lahore’s Safari Park.
