Master’s degree applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old, while PhD applicants must have a Master’s degree and be under 40. All applicants must meet academic standards, provide accurate documents, and demonstrate the potential to succeed in a rigorous research-oriented environment.
Applications for undergraduate programs are processed in two sessions. The first batch runs from November 1, 2025 to January 15, 2026, and the second batch from January 16 to March 15, 2026. For CSC applications at the Master’s and PhD levels, the deadline is February 28, 2026. Applicants must apply through NPU’s online portal and submit a non-refundable application fee of 600 CNY. Required documents include a passport copy, notarized academic certificates and transcripts, a study plan written in Chinese or English, a valid medical examination form, and a criminal record certificate. Postgraduate applicants must also provide two recommendation letters, an acceptance letter from a prospective supervisor at NPU, and supporting documents that reflect their academic or research achievements.
