The Doha Institute Scholarships 2026 in Qatar present a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue master’s degrees at one of the country’s premier graduate institutions. Open to applicants from all nationalities, including Pakistani students, the program welcomes graduates who are eager to advance their education in a culturally rich and academically rigorous environment. The scholarships are designed to eliminate the financial barriers to higher education and enable students to focus fully on their academic and professional development.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of their undergraduate studies. There are no age restrictions, and candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance and meet the admission criteria of their chosen graduate program. Fields of study include public policy, media studies, psychology, linguistics, political science, development economics, and more, offering a broad range of academic disciplines to suit diverse interests and career goals.
Two types of scholarships are offered by the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. The Tamim Scholarship is merit-based and awarded to outstanding students based on academic excellence. It includes full tuition fee coverage, free university accommodation, a monthly living stipend, and health insurance. The SANAD Grant is awarded based on financial need and offers between 10% to 100% tuition fee coverage, along with housing, a monthly allowance, and health coverage similar to the Tamim award.
The scholarship program does not require IELTS or TOEFL for students who have studied in English at certain recognized universities. However, applicants should be prepared to submit proof of English proficiency if required. Key application documents include a valid passport or national ID, academic transcripts, a CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, and proof of language proficiency.
The application process is entirely online. Students must first apply for admission to the institute. Once accepted, they will receive a link to complete the scholarship application. The deadline to apply for the Doha Institute Scholarships is January 15, 2026. This initiative supports not only academic advancement but also cultural exchange and global understanding, offering students a chance to live and learn in Qatar without financial burden.
