The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship 2026 in Qatar offers a fully funded opportunity for both local and international students to pursue Master’s and PhD programs at a prestigious Middle Eastern institution. This scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, and travel costs, providing a comprehensive financial package designed to remove barriers to advanced education. Known for its world-class faculty and diverse academic offerings, the Doha Institute welcomes students from all nationalities to study disciplines ranging from social sciences and public administration to economics, law, and development studies.

The scholarship program includes two main categories: the Tamim Scholarship, targeting Qatari and Arab students (including international applicants from the Arab region), which covers full tuition, on-campus housing, monthly stipends, health insurance, and two return air tickets. The Sanad Scholarship is aimed at international students, Qatari nationals, and residents in Qatar, offering partial to full tuition coverage, accommodation, monthly stipends, health insurance, and travel allowances depending on merit and financial need.

Students can choose from a wide array of fields, including Social Sciences and Humanities (such as Psychology, Human Rights, Media Studies, History, Journalism, Politics, Philosophy, and Anthropology) and Economics, Administration, and Public Policy programs (including Public Policy and Executive Master of Public Administration degrees).

Eligibility criteria require applicants to hold a recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree and submit certified academic transcripts. English proficiency is typically required through IELTS or TOEFL scores; however, candidates who have completed prior degrees in English-medium institutions may waive this requirement by providing an official letter. Applicants must also provide at least three academic recommendation letters and a detailed CV outlining their academic and professional background.

The application process is fully online via the Doha Institute admission portal. Applicants must register and create an account, upload all required documents, and request referees to submit recommendation letters through the system. Only one application per admission cycle is permitted, and applicants can save their progress and return later to complete the form. The deadline for submitting applications is January 15, 2026.

This scholarship not only enables students to receive quality education but also fosters cultural exchange, research opportunities, and career development within one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing educational hubs. It aims to nurture future leaders and professionals who will contribute to academic and social progress worldwide.
