Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships 2026–27 Announced for Fully Funded Study Opportunities

Applications are now open for the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships 2026-27, offering international students from Commonwealth countries the opportunity to pursue fully funded master’s programs abroad. The scholarships provide a chance to study in top-ranked universities, gain professional development, and acquire the skills needed for successful careers while experiencing new cultures and building a global network. Designed for students from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries, the program aims to support those who face financial barriers to postgraduate education.

The scholarships cover all expenses, including full tuition fees, living allowances, one-off arrival grants, economy-class return airfare, and, in some cases, research support grants. The two-year master’s programs are offered in key areas that contribute to global development and sustainable growth. Recipients study under expert mentors and professors, gaining practical knowledge and international exposure while participating in cultural exchange and collaborative projects. Scholars are encouraged to use their learning to positively impact their communities and contribute to broader sustainable development goals.

Applicants must be citizens of a Commonwealth country, cannot study in their own country, and may include those with refugee status in Commonwealth nations. Academic requirements include holding at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree, with no upper age limit. Applicants must also meet specific course and university criteria, including providing reference letters, a study plan, academic and employment records, and other supporting documents. The application process is completed online through the myACU portal, where students submit both the scholarship and university applications simultaneously.

Participating universities include the University of the West Indies (Mona, Cave Hill, St. Augustine, and Five Islands campuses), BRAC University, University of Eswatini, Technical University of Kenya, University of Mauritius, University of Kelaniya, and Makerere University. The scholarship program emphasizes international collaboration, research, and professional growth while fostering long-lasting networks among scholars.
