The Erasmus Mundus Meta4.0 Scholarship 2026 offers fully funded opportunities for international students to pursue a two-year master’s degree in Manufacturing 4.0, focusing on intelligent and sustainable technologies. Designed by the European Union, the program prepares students to meet future challenges in digital, clean, sustainable, and smart manufacturing. The curriculum combines theoretical and applied courses, labs, and internships across six European universities located in Germany, Slovenia, Italy, France, and Norway. Students gain advanced skills, enabling them to work globally in top manufacturing companies and become future experts in the field.

The scholarship provides full tuition coverage, enrolment and registration costs at partner universities, a monthly allowance of €1,400 for living, travel, and accommodation expenses, and health insurance for the entire program duration. The first year of study takes place in Italy or France, while the second year allows students to select a specialization at universities in Norway, France, Slovenia, or Germany. Erasmus Mundus Meta4.0 scholars also gain access to a global academic network and the opportunity to experience European culture firsthand.

Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanics, or Mechatronics, with final-year students also eligible if they graduate before July 31. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, maintain an excellent academic record, and show motivation aligned with the program’s objectives. Required application documents include a CV, passport copy, academic transcripts, English proficiency proof, mathematics qualification, motivation video, residence proof, and two recommendation letters.

Applications for the Erasmus Mundus Meta4.0 Scholarship 2026 are submitted online through the official Meta4.0 application portal. Applicants must create an account, upload all necessary documents, review their submission, and submit before the deadline of February 15, 2026. Confirmation is provided upon submission, and results will be announced by March 15, 2026. This scholarship offers a unique opportunity for international students to gain advanced expertise in manufacturing technologies while studying in leading European institutions with full financial support.
