Prime Minister’s Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan met with German Ambassador Anka Lepel at the Prime Minister’s Office to discuss enhanced cooperation in youth education, vocational training, and skills development. During the meeting, Ambassador Lepel highlighted Germany’s plan to increase the number of Pakistani students studying in Germany from 6,000 to 10,000, emphasizing expanded academic and professional exchanges and stronger collaboration in Pakistan’s technical and vocational education and training sector. Rana Mashhood briefed the ambassador on the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, covering its past achievements, ongoing projects, and future initiatives. He also highlighted the role of the National Youth Council in advising on youth-focused policymaking. The discussion included the Green Youth Movement, a program under PMYP aimed at raising environmental awareness and engaging young people in climate-related activities. Ambassador Lepel acknowledged the program’s contributions to youth engagement, skills development, and employment support. Both parties agreed to continue strengthening cooperation in education, vocational training, youth skills development, and exchange programs, reinforcing ties between Pakistan and Germany in fostering opportunities for young people.
