Applications are open for the TechGirls Exchange Program 2026 in the USA, a fully funded international summer program designed to empower young women in STEM fields. This program offers a 23-day exchange in the United States, providing participants with opportunities to develop leadership skills, engage in academic activities, and work on community-based projects. The initiative targets talented students from diverse countries who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, aiming to support their future academic and professional success. The program will host 111 participants from 37 countries, including Pakistan, for a seven-month exchange experience, with the USA portion lasting 23 days. In collaboration with Virginia Tech University, TechGirls focuses on mentorship, practical learning, and skill development in STEM, enabling participants to contribute positively to their communities and prepare for careers in global technology fields. Participants will also gain exposure to cultural exchange, international collaboration, and networking with peers and experts from around the world. Eligibility for the TechGirls Exchange Program 2026 requires applicants to be between 15 and 17 years old, demonstrate interest and skills in STEM, possess strong English language proficiency, and plan to pursue higher education or careers in STEM. Candidates must be citizens and current residents of eligible countries, including Pakistan, and commit to completing a community-based project after the program. Applicants must not have traveled to the US in the past three years as part of an ECA exchange program, and dual citizens living abroad are ineligible. The program is fully funded, covering international and domestic airfare, visa fees, accommodation in dormitories at Virginia Tech and hotels in Washington, D.C., meals, local transportation, cultural and educational activities, and emergency health insurance. Required documents include a recent photograph, school transcripts, essay responses, applicant signature, and passport number if available. Selection is based on eligibility, academic performance, and demonstrated interest in STEM, with interviews conducted by U.S. embassy personnel for international semi-finalists. Applications must be submitted online through the official portal, ensuring all sections are completed accurately, and documents are uploaded before the January 20, 2026 deadline. The TechGirls Exchange Program 2026 offers young women an exceptional opportunity to enhance STEM skills, gain leadership experience, and build a global network for future success. Go back |
