Pakistani students seeking higher education in Europe can now apply for Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) Scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year, offering fully funded opportunities at top Italian universities. The MAECI Scholarship program is designed to promote international academic cooperation and support the study of Italian language and culture, with successful applicants eligible to enrol at institutions such as the University of Bologna, Sapienza University of Rome, and Politecnico di Milano. The scholarship covers major study expenses, including a monthly stipend of €900, full exemption from tuition and enrolment fees at public universities (excluding minor regional charges), and health and accident insurance. Scholarships are available for three, six, or nine months, with options for renewal for longer degree programs. Eligibility criteria for Pakistani students include being under 28 years of age for Master’s programs with a relevant bachelor’s degree, under 30 years for PhD programs with a master’s degree and a university acceptance letter, and under 40 years for research projects. Applications must be submitted online through the official Study in Italy portal. Applicants need to create an account, select an eligible course, and upload required documents, including a passport copy, CV (preferably in Europass format), academic transcripts and degrees, a motivation letter, language proficiency certificate (English or Italian), admission or pre-acceptance letter for Master’s and PhD applicants, and a research proposal for PhD and research applicants. The expected application deadline for the 2026–27 academic year is mid-June 2026. The MAECI Scholarship provides Pakistani students with an opportunity to pursue a world-class education in Italy with comprehensive financial support. Go back |
