The Russia JINR Winter Student Program 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for students in science, engineering, and IT to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge research. Organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, this international program takes place in Dubna, Russia, and is open to applicants under the age of 30 from around the world. Participants in the program must be in their fourth year of undergraduate studies, enrolled in a master’s degree, or in the first year of a PhD. The program aims to identify and engage young talent for potential future employment at JINR. Over a period of six to eight weeks, selected students will work on real-world scientific and engineering projects alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical skills and international exposure in a collaborative environment. This winter exchange program covers all essential costs, including round-trip travel to and from Russia, visa fees, health insurance, and accommodation. In addition, participants receive a daily stipend of 2,000 Russian roubles to support living expenses during their stay. No application fee or language tests like IELTS are required, making it an accessible opportunity for students who meet the academic and field-specific criteria. The application process is entirely online. Interested candidates must register on the official JINR website, complete the application form accurately, and upload all necessary documents before the deadline. Only students who have not previously taken part in the START program are eligible to apply. The final date to submit applications for the Russia JINR Winter Student Program 2026 is October 30, 2025.
