The UCA Cambridge Trust Scholarship 2026-2027 offers a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue master’s and PhD studies at the University of Cambridge. This scholarship is provided by the University of Central Asia (UCA) in collaboration with the Cambridge Trust and is part of UCA’s Central Asian Faculty Development Programme (CAFDP), which aims to promote academic excellence, empower regional talent, and prepare future scholars and educators in Central Asia. Eligible students can study across a wide range of disciplines aligned with UCA’s academic and research priorities, including Earth, Climate and Environmental Sciences, Computer and Data Sciences, Media and Communications, Development Economics, Climate Economics and Public Policy, Public Health and Health Economics, and Cultural Heritage and Society. The scholarship allows recipients to pursue postgraduate programs at one of the world’s most prestigious universities, making it an excellent opportunity to advance both academically and professionally. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition fees, an annual stipend for living expenses, visa costs, and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS). PhD students also receive a research allowance and travel expenses to and from the UK. This extensive support ensures that recipients can focus entirely on their studies without financial concerns. Eligible applicants must be citizens of UCA’s founding states—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, or Tajikistan—but candidates from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan may also apply, with preference given to founding country nationals. Applicants must hold a higher education degree with an outstanding academic record, demonstrate strong English proficiency, and show a commitment to pursuing a career in academia, including research and teaching. A willingness to join UCA as a teacher or researcher after completing the program is also required. Applicants must submit the following documents: CAFDP application form, CV/resume, short research proposal, academic transcripts and diplomas, and a copy of their passport. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a full application to the University of Cambridge. The scholarship deadline is 16 November 2025, and all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply to take advantage of this opportunity to study in the UK at no cost, gain world-class education, and build a strong foundation for an academic career.
