The Islamabad United franchise has renewed its Pakistan Super League (PSL) agreement for another 10 years, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday. The extension comes at an updated market valuation determined by Ernst & Young, reflecting confidence in the team’s long-term brand value and commercial strength. Islamabad United, one of the PSL’s most successful and pioneering teams, has consistently delivered high performance both on and off the field. The renewal aligns with the PCB’s plans to expand the league to an eight-team format from its 11th edition next year. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi praised the franchise, saying, “I am delighted that Islamabad United will continue its journey with the PSL for another decade. Their professionalism and dedication have strengthened both the franchise and the league. This renewal reaffirms the trust in the PSL’s vision, growth, and long-term potential.” The agreement ensures Islamabad United remains a cornerstone of the PSL, contributing to the league’s commercial growth and setting high standards in professional cricket.
