NEW DELHI: India cricket star Virat Kohli added another remarkable record to his illustrious career on Wednesday, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar to become the fastest player to reach 16,000 runs in men’s List A cricket.

Kohli achieved the milestone during the Vijay Hazare Trophy opener for Delhi, accomplishing the feat in just 330 innings, compared to Tendulkar’s 391 innings. This record further cements Kohli’s reputation as one of the most prolific run-scorers in cricket history.

Remarkably, Kohli now holds the record for fastest to reach every 1,000-run milestone from 10,000 onwards in List A cricket, highlighting his consistency and dominance over the years.
