The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the list of players in the Silver and Gold categories ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 auction. Sixteen players, including several well-known names, have been placed in the Silver category, with Multan Sultans listing six players, Lahore Qalandars three, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United two each, and Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings one player each.

In the Gold category, 33 players have been named, featuring several who have represented Pakistan at the international level. The PSL 11 auction, scheduled for 11 February 2026, will replace the traditional draft system, aiming to enhance competitive balance, improve transparency, and provide players with greater earning opportunities.

Under the new framework, each franchise can retain a maximum of four players, with only one retention allowed per category. Mentor, brand ambassador, and Right to Match provisions have been removed, streamlining the squad-building process. The two newly inducted franchises, Hyderabad and Sialkot, can select and retain four players from the available pool before the auction. Additionally, each team can directly sign one foreign player who did not participate in PSL 10 to introduce fresh international talent.

PSL 11 will commence on 26 March 2026, with Faisalabad hosting matches for the first time, joining Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi as host cities.
