Abdul Subhan starred for Pakistan with a three-wicket haul as the team kept India’s total in check during the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup clash at Queens Sports Club on Sunday. Put into bat first, India were restricted to 252 runs in 49.4 overs.

Openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Aaron George gave India a quick start, adding 47 runs in just 7.4 overs. Sooryavanshi was the aggressor, scoring 30 off 22 balls, including a six and five boundaries. Pakistan’s Mohammad Sayyam provided a crucial breakthrough by dismissing both openers in the same over.
