Comprehensive security arrangements have been finalized for the Tri-Nation Cricket Series 2025 featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, scheduled from November 11 to 27 in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The Punjab Home Department confirmed that one company each of the Army and Rangers will be deployed in Lahore, while three companies each will be stationed in Rawalpindi to ensure tight security throughout the event. In addition, Army Aviation helicopters will assist with aerial monitoring, enhancing the overall security framework. Troops are being deployed under Article 245 of the Constitution and the Pakistan Rangers Ordinance 1959 to provide maximum protection for players, officials, and fans. Security operations will remain in effect from November 8 to 30, guaranteeing a safe and peaceful environment for spectators attending the matches.
