The Pakistan Shaheens have arrived in Qatar to compete in the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, which begins on November 14 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium. Led by middle-order batter Muhammad Irfan Khan, the young Pakistan squad is set to make its mark in this highly anticipated T20 tournament that brings together emerging cricket talent from across Asia.

Pakistan will open its campaign against Oman on November 14, followed by matches against India ‘A’ on November 16 and the United Arab Emirates on November 18. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for November 21, while the final will be played on November 23. The competition includes eight teams divided into two groups. Pakistan, Oman, India ‘A,’ and UAE are in Group B, while Group A features Afghanistan ‘A,’ Bangladesh ‘A,’ Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka ‘A.’

Ahead of the tournament, the Shaheens completed a four-day training camp at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi from November 8 to 11. During the camp, the players focused on improving their technical skills, fitness levels, and match readiness under the guidance of experienced coaching staff. The squad will hold its first practice session in Qatar on Tuesday morning to finalize its preparations and adapt to local conditions.

The ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 serves as a vital platform for developing cricketers to gain international experience and exposure to competitive T20 cricket. Team management expressed confidence that the players will perform with discipline and determination, showcasing Pakistan’s growing pool of young cricketing talent on the global stage.

The Pakistan Shaheens squad includes Muhammad Irfan Khan (captain), Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Faiq, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Salman, Mohammad Shahzad, Mubasir Khan, Saad Masood, Shahid Aziz, Sufiyan Moqim, Ubaid Shah, and Yasir Khan.

With a combination of promising batters, fast bowlers, and skilled spinners, Pakistan aims to perform strongly in Qatar and continue its tradition of nurturing future stars who can represent the country at the highest level.
