Pakistan is set to witness a major uplift in its football landscape as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA pledge full support for the development of world-class football infrastructure in the country. The ambitious plan includes the construction of eleven FIFA-standard football pitches and a brand-new stadium, aiming to elevate Pakistan’s footballing standards to international levels.

The initiative will kick off with the installation of the first two pitches at a government school in Islamabad, providing young players with access to high-quality facilities right at the grassroots level. Officials expect this move to nurture local talent, create more opportunities for youth participation, and lay the foundation for a competitive domestic football environment.

By upgrading infrastructure and aligning with international standards, Pakistan hopes to inspire a new generation of footballers while attracting regional and global attention to its football programs. The project reflects a broader commitment to sports development and community engagement, promising a brighter future for football in Pakistan.
