GO Telecommunications Group has announced the launch of GO AI Hub Pakistan, a center for artificial intelligence and digital innovation, following a strategic meeting with Pakistan's IT Minister, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, in Riyadh. This initiative is set to begin operations in October 2025 and aims to strengthen cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in areas such as digital infrastructure, AI development, and the cultivation of skilled human capital.
The GO AI Hub Pakistan will focus on promoting collaboration through knowledge exchange, digital capacity building, and the joint development of AI-powered solutions. By creating a shared space for technological advancement, the hub will contribute to accelerating digital transformation efforts in both countries. This includes fostering partnerships in cybersecurity, data science, machine learning, and other emerging technologies that are shaping the global digital economy.
Pakistan’s IT Minister praised the establishment of the hub and recognized GO Telecommunications' contributions to AI, cybersecurity, and data-centric innovation. The project aligns closely with Pakistan’s Digital Nation Vision, a national strategy aimed at transforming the country into a regional leader in technology and digital services.
Through this initiative, GO AI Hub Pakistan is expected to support innovation ecosystems, enhance digital literacy, and create new opportunities for startups and professionals in the tech sector. The hub also reflects a broader commitment by both nations to leverage artificial intelligence and smart technologies for inclusive economic growth and sustainable development.
