Guide: How to Get a 10% Discount on PIA Air Tickets

MCB Bank, in collaboration with Pakistan International Airlines, has introduced a limited-time discount offer for travelers using eligible MCB Bank cards to purchase PIA tickets. Under the offer, customers can receive a 10 percent discount on the base fare when booking flights directly through PIA’s official website, mobile application, or authorized booking offices.

The discount does not apply to tickets purchased via third-party travel agents or external booking platforms. It is valid until November 2026 and is subject to specific conditions. Each booking can receive a maximum discount of Rs. 10,000, while individual MCB cards can be used for up to two discounted transactions per month as part of the campaign.

Pakistan International Airlines has clarified that the offer will be subject to blackout dates and additional restrictions that may be introduced periodically. The airline has also reserved the right to modify, suspend, or limit the discount on selected routes or during certain travel periods, especially in cases of operational limitations.

The partnership between MCB Bank and PIA comes at a significant time for the national carrier, which is currently undergoing a major ownership transition. A consortium led by Arif Habib recently acquired a 75 percent stake in PIA for Rs. 135 billion, marking one of the largest privatization deals in Pakistan in nearly twenty years.
