Balochistan Train Services Suspended Due to Rising Security Concerns

Train services across Balochistan have been suspended due to escalating security concerns, railway officials confirmed. The halt affects several major passenger and freight trains, including the Jaffar Express, Bolan Mail, and Chaman Passenger departing from Quetta. Additionally, the freight service between Quetta and Zahedan, Iran, has been temporarily suspended, and a train traveling from Peshawar to Quetta was stopped at Jacobabad as a precautionary measure. Authorities cited the prevailing security situation as the reason for these unavoidable disruptions.

The suspension follows a large-scale security operation in which at least 58 terrorists were killed while attempting coordinated attacks across Balochistan. Security forces and law enforcement successfully thwarted 12 planned attacks carried out by Fitna Al Hindustan (FAH) at multiple locations on Friday night and early Saturday. During the operations, 10 security personnel and five civilians were martyred, highlighting the intensity of the clashes and the efforts of the forces to maintain stability in the province.
